CPN at Physiotherapy UK 2015

Following on from a CPN presence at conferences in Australia & Mallorca earlier this year, critical physiotherapy was also on the programme at Physiotherapy UK 2015 in Liverpool last weekend.

CPN members were found dotted across the programme - infusing workshops (John Hammond), panel sessions (Jenny Setchell; & Gwyn Owen) & the closing plenary debate (Roger Kerry) with critical perspectives on being/doing physiotherapy.

One highlight of this busy 2-day event for me was the opportunity to spend time with CPN members - chatting about our work & sharing ideas about ways of working together to support the development of critical physiotherapy - through informal peer support & colloquia/'work in progress' seminars. I sense that the small CPN gathering in Liverpool will be the first of many... watch this space!
