“For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.” ~T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

With the Critical Physiotherapy Network nearing ten years, it is an excellent time to reflect on what the Network has been and what it could be next. The best way to do this is together, through dialogue within our community.
The first ten years focused on creating brave spaces for those taking risks to foster an otherwise physiotherapy. As CPN, we have gathered at conferences, helped introduce critical physios to each other, published anthologies of critical scholarship, led workshops and seminar series, and much more.
What should our focus be now, with this foundation and ever-growing creativity?
We invite you to share your ideas, either through a virtual conversation or if you’d prefer, you could email in your responses to the questions. If a conversation, this will be scheduled at your convenience in the coming six weeks or so.
You do not need to be someone who has been deeply involved or long a part of the CPN to date to contribute. Learning what brings people to the CPN, and what matters to each of us for the future will help guide our activities.
If interested in helping shape what CPN becomes, please email cpnexecutive@gmail.com by Dec 20, 2023. Please let us know your preferred language, and time zone in which you live. Among the executive, we have a mix of English, French or Portuguese speakers; please let us know which language you’d prefer. One of the executive committee members will then be touch to arrange a conversation, either for December 2023 or January 2024.
Best wishes for your holidays!
